School Fees

You can pay by cash, cheque or online banking. Our preferred method is by online banking. We will email you a receipt in confirmation of receipt of funds.

Standard Chartered Bank, BIBD and Baiduri online information is available.

Payments can be made annually (2% discount if paid in advance), every 6 months or monthly. Our Accounts department will be delighted to discuss this further with you. 

The admissions fee is payable upon submission of the application to Jerudong International School.

Upon accepting an offer to study at JIS, Bruneian rate and Permanent Resident rate parents will be invoiced for the refundable school deposit. 

School fees are billed in the first week of commencement of school or by arrangement with the Accounts Team.

We are sorry to advise that Jerudong International School is not currently offering any scholarships.

Students wear a school uniform at Jerudong International School. This is purchased at the Uniform Shop which is located by the main Visitor Centre.

For Junior School students, parents need to purchase a stationery pack every academic year. This is invoiced directly to the parents and the pack is delivered to the Junior School classroom ready for a student to start school.  

For Senior School students (Years 7-13), the stationery requirement differs according to the academic year and also according to the subjects and courses selected as the student progresses through the school.

Junior School students do not require any textbooks. 

Senior School students in Years 7-13 will require textbooks each academic year. These will vary depending on subjects chosen or the Sixth Form pathway selected (A Level, IB Diploma or BTEC).

Additional costs may arise during a student's time at Jerudong International School. These include school trips (which may be optional and will be advised in plenty of time for parents to budget). 

Exam Fees for the Upper Years and Sixth Form Examinations are charged by the external examination boards and invoiced to parents. This is usually in Year 11 (IGCSE) and Year 13 (A Level and IB Diploma).

JIS is a cashless campus. Senior students use a student card which is preloaded with Brunei Dollars. Junior School students from Reception to Year 6 have a wristband. 

For Boarding students, all meals are included in the Boarding Fees so a daily amount is preloaded by the school onto the student card. 

For Day students, parents can preload the wristband or card with Brunei Dollars. Parents can set a daily limit and are also able to pre-order meals for their child to collect.
