Which Fee Rate Applies to me?

The Academic Fees for the 2024-25 academic year have now been published (March 2024).

An explanation of the different School Fees and who is eligible for which rate can be found on each tab below:

Standard Rate

The Standard fees are for those parents whose employers have agreed to pay for 100% of their child’s tuition fees (and boarding fees) as part of their contract.

Some employers will pay the school fees directly to the school. In this case, parents should bring a letter from their employer to the School Accounts Department who will liaise directly with the employer to arrange payment of the School Fees.

Sometimes, parents will pay the school fees and then claim this back in full from their employer. Please liaise with the school accounts team who will be happy to invoice in advance to enable receipt of the funds from the employer in time to pay the school fees.

Usually parents will need to pay for uniform, stationery, textbooks and any school trips separately. Receipts will be issued for these so if eligible, you will also be able to claim this back from your employer.

Bruneian Rate

Bruneian fees are for those local parents and students (Bruneian citizens), who hold a valid Yellow Identity Card and where the fees will be paid in full by the parents.

Our Accounts team are happy to advise you if you qualify for a Brunei Government Education Subsidy. The Accounts team will also provide the Certificate of Enrolment to claim this subsidy if eligible.

Resident Rate

For parents with Permanent Resident (PR) status and expatriate parents living in Brunei whose school fees are not fully subsidised by their employer (i.e. employers only pay a contribution towards the cost of their child’s education), you may be eligible for a discounted rate (Resident Rate).

Some parents are granted an Education Allowance by their employer, the accounts office may ask for more information about this to determine which fees are correct.

Parents applying for a Boarding place with ASEAN nationality may also be entitled to this rate for their child.

How can I pay?

You can pay by cash, cheque or online banking. Our preferred method is by online banking. We will email you a receipt in confirmation of receipt of funds.

Standard Chartered Bank, BIBD and Baiduri online information is available.

Payments can be made annually (2% discount if paid in advance), every 6 months or monthly. Our Accounts department will be delighted to discuss this further with you.

When do I start paying?

IS THERE A SCHOOL UNIFORM?

DOES THE SCHOOL PROVIDE STATIONERY?

For Junior School students, parents need to purchase a stationery pack every academic year. This is invoiced directly to the parents and the pack is delivered to the Junior School classroom ready for a student to start school.

For Senior School students (Years 7-13), the stationery requirement differs according to the academic year and also according to the subjects and courses selected the student progresses through the school.

For Day students, parents can preload the wristband or card with Brunei Dollars. Parents can set a daily limit and are also able to pre-order meals for their child to collect.
